Publications
I have published various articles; one in the Journal of Analytical Chemistry, my MS thesis in Analytical Chemistry, and two books on database design and applications. The first article is interesting because I am colorblind and the standard analytical method at that time (undergraduate, 1978) used an indicator which changed from purple to blue, with the disappearance of red being the end point. Since I could not see this end point, I devised a spectrophotometric end point detection combined with a motor driven syringe for the titration.
The second publication is my MS thesis and this work concentrated on characterizing a micro-spherical hanging mercury electrode in cyclicvoltametry. This work brought in one of my hobbies; electronic design and construction.
The third and forth publications are books I have written while in IBM, on database design and applications using IBM's DB2 database. I was pleased to see the New Intelligence book is still offered on Amazon.

Here is a copy of my Masters thesis; complete with incomprehensible charts and equations. It all reads like fiction to me now.
You can still buy a copy of this fascinating thriller from Amazon.com. The book discusses the need for, and methods of, analytical processing of data.
This is my first book. There are no copies available online or elsewhere that I can find.
