Intel Processors - 4004 through Pentium 13 May 2014
A few years ago, I began collecting Intel processor chips, starting with the venerable 4004. The 4004 was one of, if not the first, microprocessor. Debate rages about the timing of the 4004 Vs the TI TMS1000NLP, but the Intel line was far more successful, and as I worked for IBM, more interesting. Here is a tribute to the Intel line, starting with the 4004 and ending (one has to stop somewhere) with the Pentium.
This project has a few more hours to go, and I will update as soon as I can. The backdrop is a photograph of the 4004 chip.
The size is 10.5" X 14.5". All of the alleged "artwork" was done in powerpoint.
